FAQs
When is the festival?
SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD returns to Leytonstone (E11) on Saturday 2 May 2026 across various venues. One ticket gets you first-come, first-served access to all the music!
Where is SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD held?
This year features five amazing spaces with full details of all to be confirmed soon:
St John's Church / Red Lion Ballroom / Leytonstone Social (Upstairs) / Leytonstone Social (Downstairs) / St John's Churchyard (Community Area)
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online through our website’s ticket tab. Any remaining tickets on the day will be available at our ticket booth (location will be confirmed nearer to the festival date).
Are children allowed?
During the day under 18s are more than welcome (and many attend and have an amazing time - we love hearing how many kids love the live music!) Please note however that SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD is not an event designed specifically for children so please ensure they are not causing issues to other patrons and staying quiet (where possible!) during performances that require a respectful atmosphere. There may also be artists using explicit language so please be aware of this! Each venue will have a curfew for when under 18s will have to leave and we shall be confirming these nearer the time, but we estimate around 9pm for most venues.
Where can I buy food?
We will have various amazing street food vendors in our Community Area, which will be the large yard space outside St John's Church.
Is there parking available nearby?
Yes, there is street parking in Leytonstone (check the Waltham Forest Council website for more information) as well as ample space in the car park (2 mins walk from venues) at the bottom of Church Lane (past Leytonstone tube station).
How do I DJ or get to perform at the festival?
To be considered for 2026, drop us an email at info@shakethehighroad.com - we endeavour to check out every submission.
